Guy Lets Egg In Car During Hot Day To Show What it Does to Your Dog

Somebody just posted an instructional series of images of exactly what occurs to an egg in a frying pan left in a parked cars and truck on a hot day for 15 minutes– all in the hope of raising awareness about NOT leaving dogs in a vehicle.

According to PETA, every year dogs suffer as well as die when their owners leave them in a parked cars and truck– even if it’s ‘just a minute’ to run an errand. The organization calls parked vehicles a ‘deathtrap for dogs’.

“On a 78-degree day, the temperature level inside a parked car can skyrocket to in between 100 and 120 degrees in just minutes, and on a 90-degree day, the interior temperature level can reach as high as 160 degrees in less than 10 minutes.”

This can lead to brain damage or unexpected heatstroke death in simply 15 minutes. Keep in mind that for dogs beating heat is additional hard, since the only method of cooling themselves they have is by panting and by sweating through their paw pads.

PETA likewise warns of the threat of hot pavement– if it’s too hot for you to touch pavement with your hand, it will be too hot for your four-legged good friend. “If you would not put your dog in a fry pan, please don’t make them walk on hot pavement.”
