Should I Use Aromatherapy on My Dog ?

They are in tune with our state of minds and show more trouble in managing psychological tension and loneliness. Thus they require more attention then other animals.

If your dog is suffering from yeast or ear infection use either of these oils to treat it. Put these oils in a spray bottle with a base oil and swab the inside of the ear after cleansing.

– Lavender – relieves the skin and eliminates itching
– Tea Tree – powerful antibacterial and antifungal
– Bergamot – antifungal homes
– Roman Chamomile – relaxing and gentle, aids in recovery tissue.

Mix 6 drops of lavender, 1 drop of Neroli and 4 drops of Marjoram essential oils with provider oil such as jojoba or sweet almond oil. Use on the spine and head gently.

Repeat when needed. This blend will alleviate psychological tension.

To ease Stress and anxiety & Isolation – Blend 1 drop of Rose otto, 5 drops of cypress and marjoram necessary oils with provider oil. Apply on the spinal column and head light, duplicating whenever required.

6 drops of lavender, 2 drops of roman chamomile and 4 drops of petitgrain vital oils mixed with carrier oil and applied to spine and head gently minimize nervousness & hyperactivity.

Remember dog’s sensitive sense of odour into account when using essential oils. A dog that is besieged by the gives off blends might rate, whine, or rub her/ her head on the ground. Introduce your dog to vital oils gradually and in small amounts.
