A Man Left His Dog Outside Dunkin’ Donuts With A Heartbreaking Note On Collar
For those people who see our family pets as family members, it’s impossible to picture abandoning them as if they mean absolutely nothing, specifically during the Christmas vacation. Sadly, cases of animal abuse and neglect understand no season.
On December 26, Santa Fe animal services in New Mexico received a concerned call about a guy who had actually checked out a local Dunkin’ Donuts early that early morning and left his dog outside.
Security video footage showed the man leaving “a dark colored Chevy Venture design van” then letting his dog out, ostensibly so she could relieve herself in a neighboring patch of grass.
However as the video’s progression showed, this was in fact his cruel goodbye to the unwary pup. Now cops are searching for him.
Inning Accordance With Santa Fe authorities, “the male opened his door and let the dog out of the automobile with [a] note attached to its neck.”
The note reads, “I’m free I’m having babies.”
He then walked into the establishment without the dog and purchased a cup of coffee.
” The dog followed the man from the automobile to the front door of the business but was disregarded by the male,” Santa Fe police wrote. There’s no readily available footage of him driving into or leaving the parking area afterward, meaning his license plate number wasn’t recorded. His face, on the other hand, was.
Now this sweet girl is at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society, where despite her treatment, workers say she’s extremely social and loves individuals. They aren’t yet sure whether she’s really pregnant. They state it’s too early to tell.
